TAKE DOWN RECURVES

Default TAKE DOWN RECURVES

Hey guys...

I have been a wheely bow shooter a long time and have a BAD itch to get back to trad so looking for a 40lb TD recurve -

Suggestions ?? I have a 55 LB R/D longbow but cant shoot it due to it giving me arm / elbow issues...

BTW - anyone wanna trade a bow for a double bull blind ?

I have a Martin Hatfield T/D that I think is quite nice. It was a little twangy when I first got it, but some limbsavers, string silencers & moleskin/camo padding material up near the limb tips quieted it down nicely. Its smooth drawing too.
Ancient Spirits makes some real nice T/D recurves as well.

All the one I named in my first reply are highly reputable, well know, excellent shooters that have been around for a long time. But every bow is different, you need to shoot as many as you can to see what YOU like.

Oh, how could I forget one of the most recognized names in trad bows...Black Widow
