Russ, I was thinking Mark's rainbow was a handle for a longbow. I didn't realize it was the main handle for a takedown.

Hopefully early next week and there will be no extra shipping charges, matter of fact they are giving me credit for the shipping back of the wrong lams.

Are you going to finish this bow, or am I going to have to drive down there and build a fire under you?

Kent.

I had to send the Walnut and Cocoblo lams back they made them in the wrong poundage.

I am hoping to get the right ones next week.

See, if you cut your own lams, you wouldnt have to worry about this. I hope I left enough wood so you could plan mine down to what you needed.

Yep you did I have 2 of them planed and sanded for the back of the limbs for this bow.

I will probably have to sand them back a tad more before I do the laminating.

But have been working on another project but not going to say anything about that one just yet

Shoot, im going to get my two piece takedown done before you. Lol. Ive got the limbs made and tillerd, just got to cut them to fit the handle.

I could have had it done last week except im spending too much time screwing with that osage bamboo mess ive got going. I hope the bamboo has lifted off by the time I get home so I can put it back together. Arrrrrgggggggggggg.[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@] I hate when a monkey wrench gets thrown in the works.
