Just bought a couple Bear Archery bow and arrows. they are actually compounds but not one of the modern types. One is a Mirage and the other is the Whitetail Hunter. Both are in great condition and seem to be an excellent brand. I know Fred Bear made these and the quality was always up there. The Whitetail hunter has what looks to be Laminated wood and an Aluminum body. Im not a bow guy so i dont know the names and such of the parts of the bow.
Anyone know anything about these models?

Really would like to know the draw pull weight, draw length "seems short". How far is the whitetail hunter good out to? My father has always wanted to bow hunt but he cant pull back any bows we look at and i was really hoping this would do it for him.

Maybe he's hoping some old fart on the Traditional forum would remember these antiques. [8D]
Bear had so many different models they called 'Whitetail Hunter' over the years that it's impossible to know which one you've got. Pictures would certainly help. I can't remember them ever having one called the Mirage. You sure that one's not a Browning?
