Ok look, i started this thread and to me it is somtimes getting way off the subject.
Hey, aren't we starting to get off topic again?

Just kidding, don't come down too hard on me.

I think you better master one bow at a time. It seems your having trouble with both.

When I shot a recurve I ws told to pretend you are pointing your index finger on the hand that is holding the bow at what you want to hit. Because if you just pick out objects and point at them with your finger your brain will make it right on ever time,so when you draw your bow just get your brain to think that the arrow is your index finger anchor and let it rip!! thank, that hepls some. Im starting to get it down, but whne i went to go shot with my new string on today the string came up after the first shot and hit my hand that was holding the bow. I really am starting to think that the people at bass pro dont no what they are doin.

I hope you don't take any offense to this but how old are you? How long have you been around recurves? I'm trying to get an idea on how familiar you are with bows in general.

Check your brace height. Sounds like the string needs to be twisted up a bit.
