I hunt everywhere. Ground, tree, etc. I simply lay my trad bows on my leg, and the ones that have a good shelf, I put on a hook.

I ussually lay it accoss my lap or hold it...I have used a rubber arrow holder in the past but generally have never had any problems with the arrow falling off...longbow or recurve...

Whatever you do; don't use a climbing treestand! You will have problems with the bottom limb contacting the upper bar of the climber. I learned the hard way last year.

I've hunted from Old Man and Summit stands, and currently use a Summit Goliath. The bar can be a pain, but like anything else you need to practice hunting shots. I can shoot my 66" longbow and 72" selfbow from my climbing stand, but I've spent a lot of hours practicing from a stand.
Same thing goes for a ground blind, lock on stand, etc. You need to practice those shots and be aware of the limitations (the bar, limbs, top of the blind, etc.) before you go hunting.

Depends on the climber. Climbing stands like a Lone Wolf Alpha hand climber or a Summit open shot don't have that issue.

Never done it, i dont think ive ever even shot my trad bows from an elevated position. I would have to practice a lot before taking to the treestand with one!
