Default American Shooter?

I was watching American Shooter today and a guy was using a bow to hit a aspirin. Anyone know what bow he was using? Thanks

Almost certainly it was Byron Furgeson. He shoots his own bows(now made by Bear,co.)

If it was Ferguson (most likely it was), he was using one of his bows. Bear Archery makes them now, but I am pretty sure Byron is still shooting bows he made himself.

Last I had heard his brother was making them. Is/was there any truth to this?

Yeah Dan--Ferguson's brother or brother-in-law (forget for sure which it was) was helping build them when Byron got too busy doing shows and such, but about a year ago Bear started making them. Not sure why--think they are advertised in catalogs like Cabela's as being made by Bear, designed by Ferguson. I really didn't care much for the way they felt (drew a few, didn't get to shoot any though), but obviously they work for him! If you ever get the chance to talk with Byron, it's a treat. He's just a down to earth good 'ol boy from Alabama--his wife is a sweetheart too.

Undoubtedly it was Byron Ferguson. It is my favorite part of American Shooter. His feats are truly amazing.
