Matt, you are right--now I'm wondering where I got "cape" from--maybe I'm working too hard......... That is definately an Asiatic water buffalo. Australia has them (that's where I plan to go for a hunt), but they are not native.
Cape buffalo hornshave the big knobs in the center, over their head, and curl a lot more.
