First thing I'd suggest working on is getting the bow out.
Are you sure you posted in the right forum? We don't get many traditional bowhunters who put their bows away when the season closes and never touch them again until the next season opens.

Yep. I agree with Bob. That pinching the arrow and spinning it off the rest while drawing is pretty common and really frustrating for new shooters.

Ive yet to pull out my trads for a hunt. I was busy this summer and didnt get to shot them as much as I would like. So the start of this season Ive been taking out the compound. Ive only been out twice and taken a doe. Ive been working on my recurve and will be using it from here on out.
