Limbsavers?
Has anyone ever seen or heard of someone putting limbsavers on a recurve?
I am looking at a dreamcatcher to buy, and the guy put limbsavers on the quiver and on the limbs. I just thought it looked odd. I was wandering if it would damage the finish or the wood if I wanted to take them off? If it shoots straight and quiet, then I might as well just leave them on. That is, if I end up buying it.

i have some on my recurve...i dont think they look bad....they work too...i put mine on a couple inches up from the fade outs...mine are the camo full size ones...ive never done it but if you want to take them off maybee try to pull them off(just pull real hard and see if they come off) next id try a razor...personally id leave them on. chances are youll scratch the bow with a razor

Maybe if they came out with some wrapped in leather.... Otherwise it just looks like the bow hasn't been maintained and has sprouted mushrooms.
Just like with any other bow, they work best on the bows that need them. Fortunately, I don't have any traditional bows that need them.
