Default safe cleaner

Could anybody tell me of a safe cleaner for a bow thats been in a basement for about 10 years. Ive tried to clean it with spray polish but it wont cut through any of the old dullness. I guess its yellowed finish.

Thanks
Tim

Try Murphy's Oil Soap.It works great on old furniture. The finish, however, may be indeed yellowed.

Butcher's Wax is one of the first recommended by folks over at TradGang for bow care when the question comes up. It is very gentle and cleans as it waxes.
