Jim FWIW, here is an e-mail I received from Craig:

Bob:Unless otherwise requested, we will always put all of the lams behind the riser with one exception. If an individual wants clear glass, we will then run one lam up the riser. Otherwise, you would see the ends of the riser at the fadeouts and they aren't always even across because of having to fade them out to nothing. The Tembo is the only one that will have one lam up the riser with colored glass because of the model.Let me know if you have any other questions. Craig

How do you shoot that style bow with what looks like no grip throat? Is hand placement a little funky?
This isn't my picture, it was taken off the HH Shooters Site, but it is pretty much how I grip a HH style bow, I may hold a bit higher though and I cant around 1 oclock or so. The arrow pretty much just barely touches my index finger while I draw:

My brother shoots his longbows with that type of grip.It works for him but it's a little awkward for me.I get a little more hand on it and like Bob,I get a higher grip with a 1 o'clock cant.I like that arrow right on top of my hand.

JimPic, I'm trying to order a recurve this Monday (April 9th.) I'll try to post pictures of it when it's delivered. The recurve I'm ordering it has no shooting shelf, you shoot it off of your knuckle when ya' shoot it. I might buy me some arrows too. I'm not 100% if I'll shoot Carbons or Cedars. I found some nice arrows on the website that I'm gonna order that recurve out of. How does your longbow shoot? I'll tell y'all how the recurve shoots when I get it delivered.

The longbows shoot great,EH !!Remember,if you're right-handed shooting off the knuckle--make sure you get your arrows with left wing feathers

It feels great, and it looks great. I haven't got to shoot it yet, I haven't got a bowstringer yet. I can't wait until I do get to shoot it. I'll tell y'all how it shoots when I get to shoot it.
