let me explain my above post - I get rid of ANYTHING that makes my arrows fly badly.

I'd love to shoot wood shafts - cant keep them absolute straight. I'd love to shoot 3" vanes, my big feathers stabilize my arrows better. I'd love to use all enamel paints on my caps/crowns, don't bond well.

I get rid of that stuff, I use what I've found to be bomb proof

I'd rather shoot what works than what I would like to shoot that doesn't

OK , Buster t. I under stand your point butI'm just toying around with these light nocks,andI agree 100% with anything that causes bad arrow flight get rid of it. But would still like to knowwhat the problem is. Thanks tj craig for the info

I think they could be used as a pretty good tool for the trad person. I know of an instinctive shooter that shoots in the dark at a target lighted by a laser pointer. To me, since there is no immediate feedback, I don't understand why he does this unless he is just trying to see how accurate he can be in the dark. But I bet with one of these lighted nocks, you could get a real good feel for the trajectory of the arrow. That is as long as it is flying true.
