Well the trad bug has bitten hard. I got the Darton recurve about a month and a half ago. That led to the purchase of a Ben Pearson for my nephew. That got here last week. Today this came. A 1954 Bear Cub reflexed longbow. This thing is in fantastic shape. I'm not sure if I should shoot it or hang it on a wall. It is really pretty and the pics don't do it justice. Oh, I will be shooting it. Maybe tomorrow after work.

GooD Luck on the hogs. I two have the bug. I had it last year but had to put it off because of hand problems with a operation. This year its full speed ahead. I been back shooting my Great Plains recurve 55#@28 sometime now. I will be ready to hunt with it this year and I can't wait. Im good out to 15yards and by Bow season I should be good out to 20yards, thats my goal. Good Luck on your hunt and be safe!!!

Really cool! I have 2 old Bears-a 1968 Super Magnum48 and a Polar longbow with the double shelf.Someone told me they stopped making the dble-shelved Polar in 1953.I haven't shot them in a while but they still shoot pretty good.I bought 2 new(used) longbows in the past month-a Wes Wallace Royal and a Hollenbeck--I just can't seem to stop either.
