Best wood for self bow?
Hey, i have been wanting to make a self bow for a while and have been reading up on it. I figured you all are the best to ask so here it goes, whats the best wood to use, best backing? Are there any good tutorials or instructions to be found online? Thanks ya'll!

I'm not the most experienced in this, but the self-bows that we have made have always been osage, and it they have worked out very well for us. Gary Davis visits our club every year and the only wood he recommends and guarantees is osage.
