I took a little time off from my trad bows, two seasons, and hunted exclusivly with my compound. Now that im back with my trads, I have had to go with a finger sling to keep from losing my bow. Does anyone else use a finger sling with their trad bows?

I use a finger sling when I'm shooting in competition at distances, i.e. York Round and American Round. It helps immensely to eliminate that tiny bit of bow torque that can show up at 60-100yrds. For 3D and hunting it's just too much of a bother to use.

I shoot with a wrist sling (elec. taped on to riser)...It was the only thing I missed from my compound. I feel and shootso much better with anopen hand at full draw...

I put it on there when I was going through a torque issue six months ago...the torque issue is long gone, but the sling is still on there. I love it so much, im putting an insert in the longbow Im building now...
I hope it works for you...but to each his own...Good Luck!

I figured out how to make a figure 8 out of a loop and put it around the base of the grip and connect the loop around the bow tight with a zip tie. I really like it.
