John, that scenery is breathtaking...
Sept.2 is the opener for squirrels, so Ill be after them while scouting for deer, which opens Sept. 15. October might yeild a Sika hunt,then (hopefully) its off to Georgia for hogs.
Hopefully the Snuffers and Zwickeys will get a little action

OTC sheep ........... that doesn't seem real to an Arkansas boy who'd dreamed all his life of a sheep hunt.
One of my few regrets was while I was young and traveled, I should have moved to Alaska and worked in the lower 48 9 months, and hunted in Alaska for a couple.

Sept.1 grouse season opens.
Sept.2 Archery deer and elk
Sept.15 black bear
Nov. Trapping season for Beaver, mink,muskrat and otter
Dec.Bobcat, marten, fisher and wolverine.
Coon,Fox and coyote no limit or season but I wait till the furs are prime.

Depending on how things go, scatter in some Canada goose hunting, grouse &pheasants.

Oct 28-Nov 5: Blackpowder whitetail
Nov 18-Dec 3: Rifle whitetail
There is a antlerless only season later around christmas time. two weekends only. I wont go unless Ive got family in town that wants to go. There may also be a day or two mixed in for phesant and quail, ducks and geese.
I noticed someone mentioned squirrels -- they opend here in may.

Oh mine is great, I am havinga arthroscomy procedurethe first of Sept.on the first joint of my bow hand thumb (severe arthritis) should put me out till the first of December .YAH! I'm pumped
