whats your hunting schedule in 2006 ?
I'm pumped about mine, now that I know for sure
3rd week September Colorado elk - 2 guys, 3 llamas, 10 days total, 5 miles into a wilderness area, gonna be GREAT
October 1st Arkansas whitetail season opens. 4 1/2 month season, but still that 1st week I look forward too. I have a place that the dee LOVE to eat persimmons at this time !
1st week of November (maybe 2nd) my Dad and I are going to Kansas. I'll do a semi-live hunt on Tradgang - every night posting pictures, maybe some video etc. Huge buck country - looking to shoot a 130-140" buck or better is the goal.
All my hunts I'll be shooting my pre-ACS Adcock 64" longbow, 52# weight. I might shoot carbons, graphlex or woods - not sure yet.
What do ya'll have planned ?

Sept 15- Grouse and all other small game opens, and the week after that woodcock opens. Junt hunt close to home.
Oct 1- bow season. Drive 10 min to the killing grounds . Some time in Oct I will head down state to my uncles farm for some deer and rabbit hunting.
Nove 15- opener of gun seaason. GET OUT OF THE WOODS, stay at deer camp for as long as I can and get back at it the second week of gun season, once things calm down. Day before Thanksgiving I will shoot a monster buck and be the hero of the family dinner.
I hope I have my tags filled by the late season, to dang cold and to much snow. Plus alot of deer have droped by then.
BRP,donthave to much fun.

Pretty low key year for me.....
October 1 - January 31 I'll be chasing whitetails...
I'm researching a trip to N. Missouri right now that I may take the first week in November......

I normally don't have a firm schedule but lots of stuff around me opens the 10th of august including grouse & ptarmingan, caribou, sheep & grizz. Moose is a bit later in the month.
I do plan on going after caribou the 15th & the early moose opening the 24th. The moose general season opens in September. Some where in there I hope todo a quick sheep hunt. Weather will control much of my schedule. If its too warm everything will be delayed.
I'll be using my windtalker 55# shooting 710gr carbons or my backup massie longhorn as my primary bows for most of the critters. For the sheep hunt I'll use one of my T/D recurves.

BobCo - Here is a picture from this spring while looking for griz. This is also the same area that I plan on early caribou and early moose. Those hills hold lots of Dall sheep but unfortunately its considered at trophy area for sheep and so draw only. I'll do an otc sheep elsewhere.
Well that photobucket addy didn't work. I'll try again
