String Placement????

String Placement????
Ok I just got my Ben Pearson recurve in the mail.
Is there a certain way the string goes on. Do I twist it right,left or just make sure it is on.
On the bottom limb the string comes out of the groove when I let down after drawing some times. When I first put the string on it would come off at drawing but after sitting with it on all night it doesn't, nowjustwhen I let it down after drawing.
Could the limb be warped?? If so can that be fixed?? It is soo close to that I wonder if I put soap on the limb will that help it fall in place.
I have yet to shoot it. I bought it for bowfishing.

I forgot to mention that when the guy shipped it he had the string on so the string was on the limb then down and on the tother limb but on front of it. I think that might ahve twisted it. It was like that for 3 days in the mail.

1) If a limb is twisted can it be correct to the correct spot.

1. Yes, try to find some of Arthur P. posts on taking care of that problem, or even PM him. He's the one you want to talk to.
2. Yes, and I would highly recommend using a stringer, especially with a recurve. First you will need to find the proper barce height of the recurve, you can then twist/untwist the string to meet the proper brace height. But be careful not to untwist it too much.
Your string should not be coming off the limb tips while strung. If it is, the loop may not be correct for the bow. Not trying to be funny, but if you are new to this make sure you are not stringing up the recurve backwards.

A twisted limb can be corrected by applying heat ,either steam or a heat gun, being careful not to damage the finish, then using a vise clamping that limb and either twisting against the twist and bringing it back to the original shape, then cool down the wood with water and rags, do not string up for a few hours until completly cool.
It is hard to teach by writting instruction ,sometimes it a trial and error thing.
