For installing glue on broadheads to point adapters?
I'm getting ready to order stuff, and am not sure what is best. Would like to ability to remove them if necessary down the road, but don't want to jeapordize stability while hunting or target shooting.
What say ye?
Is this stuff any good?

How about Ferr-L-Tite?

The stuff in the link is supposed to be better than Ferr-L-Tite. Even the brown glue sticks you get at the hardware store is supposed to be better.
It makes sense they've come up with better formulations than Ferr-L-Tite over the past 40+ years (that's how long I've been using it.)[&:]
Lots of people use epoxy to glue their adaptors in, but I like using hotmelt. I can reposistion the broadhead a lot easier if it doesn't spin true after I've glued it up.

By hot melt do you mean the clear skinny sticks with the little heat gun?
My wife has one of those for crafts. Is that what you use? If so, I'll go that route and save a buck or few...

Yeah, a butane lighter works or a small butane torch. Problem with them is you sometimesget some soot on the glue from the flame. Get too much soot in the glue and it won't stick as well as it should.
Best thing to use is one of those alcohol burners. They sell 'em at the same place you're looking at the glue. Denatured alcohol burns cleaner and won't leave that soot on the glue. It's a lot cheaper than gasrefillstoo. I need to get one, myself.

I guess I did miss that. You must've posted whilst I was typing my reply. Anywho... The clear glue sticks don't work as well as the brown or yellowones. I've lost quite a few points in target butts using that clear stuff.[&o]Sure ticks off the guys shooting ACC's when they wrestle their arrow out and find a 125 glue on jammed on the end of their arrow.[8D]

Thanks.
I see some guys are calling Bohning Power Bond "liquid hot melt". Say it only takes a few drops, goes on liquid, gives longer set time to spin check and is heat reversable.
No anything about it? My wife only has clear sticks, don't think I can get the yellow/amber ones here locally...
