My worst target is the leopard(too many spots to focus on just one)and the standing bear gives me trouble more times than not.Favorites are the alligator, deer, and mtn. goat.

We have a moose at our club and for the longest time I would either shoot over or under. I just couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. It's generally a long shot 35 yards or so. Finally overcame my trouble by picking a spot, picking a spot and picking a spot[8D]. It was a good lesson to learn about concentration. Now I have to agree with others about that darn mckenzie jake turkey. One of the clubs I shoot at has this jake set in front of a stone wall, the archer is seated at a stump aprox 18-20 yards. Concentrate, concentrate, concentrate, I know, I know, I know[:@]. Needless to say I have lost several arrows to the "stone backstop" and that really messes with my mind. I get the greatest sense of satisfaction after making a nice shot on the deer targets, afterall thats primarily what I'm practicing for.

Woo Hoo. I hit the gator at the Howard Hill shoot both times I shot at it. They were both 5's, but, that's OK. Met Chad there too. Really nice guy.

Thanks PC--really enjoyed meeting you. Wish I could have stayed for Sunday, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to move Sunday am after I stepped in that hole. I was ok though--at least as good as I get. Think that gator had nearly everyone's number--scoring rings weren't where they were supposed to be! Oh well........it was a great shoot anyhow.
