This one is pretty straight forward....There aren't a lot of different stand opportunities here, but what are ya'lls thoughts? Where would you hunt and why?

Im guessing your inside the white lines, yes? The spot just above and to the left of the little pond in the upper right hand corner of your boundries, looks to be good to set up, observe and go from there. Oh, and take a bath in the river after work[8D]Is that an acessroad running paralell to the river?

No, I'm fairly certain that is the river terrace. I'm gonna find out more tomorrow evening when I set foot on it.

Wow.....you think of that all by yourself did ya?? Now, what if you can't get in there to scout it first? Wouldn't it be nice to have a decent idea of where to look before you got there? If it were all about deer sign, topos and ariel maps would be useless.

looks like all the bucks are to the right of the white outlined area.
Sorry,couldn't resist.

I agree that just above the pond there is a pinch point that should have some decent travel.

Idon't know if it is dry in your area but the pond may have some activity as well, and theymay be comingout right belowthe pinch point to get there. Of course there is a river that they can get plenty of water but I have a spot I used to hunt that almost looks identical, all the way down to the island. There was a small pond and the deer would flock to the pond at night. They would also bed on the island.(ourisland was a little closer to shore)

This deer was killed right on the river in that area by my stedad.

I agree with the above, just above the pond or further left/ west where the actually property pinches, so does the woods right there and depending the crop fields, that would make a good funnel. The thing is, dending on how wide that woods is from the fields to the river you'd cover that point just above the pond near the bigger woods. I think tho I would start just North of the pond on the north/east part of the property.

The red spots are where i would start out looknig the one farthest away from the pon looks like a finger coming out by a ridge and look slike a good access point the feild.
