Default Loc-Tite ?, Please Reply.

My sons bow has a screw that keeps vibrating loose on his browning adrenaline bow, and I want to put some thread locker on it. I went to the hardware store, and the only blue thread locker they had was the medium strength. My question is will this stuff be able to be removed with an allen wrench when his draw length changes, or is it to strong? Suggestions please. Thank you.

yeah, the blue works great. it will hold tight, but you'll be able to get the bolt out if you need to.

Yes the Blue Loc-tite Number 242 will do it. Don't I repeat don't use the Red Loc-tite number 262.That is permanent and you'll never get back apart.I've used Red and that's some powerful stuff.

I think there is a purple too that some folks use on their gun scope mounts, but it doesn't have as much bite as the blue.
Definitely don't use red.

I found some at another store tonight, but it isn't loc-tite. It was called devcon thread locker. It is blue, and it is the 245. Will this work for me for what I need? Thanks all for the replies, I appreciate it.

You want the removable type loctite. Blue or green is removable the red is permanent.
