Just visually looking at the cam on my q2xl, it seems that the top timing hole on the cam is pointing toward the riser. What do I have to do to get it where it needs to be? If I have the cables twisted will it affect my poundage and draw length and what direction should it be done? Do you run a string or something down these holes to see if they are parallel with the string, or what? Or should I not worry about it and just shoot the darn thing? Please help and good luck to all this year.

Bhunter,
Not surprisingly, some cams perform better in different positions...tuning guide to the contrary. I would worry more about how the bow shoots...in terms of both noise level, accuracy and vibration. If all three of these check out then I would consider the unusual timing of the cam secondary. Should any of these characteristics become unusual then I would attempt to readjust the cam so the lobe points out more from the riser. Twisting the cable should achieve this. I would then recheck your draw length and draw weight to see if they have changed.
