My brother just bought a PSE Carrera from Cabelas. Picked it up for $389 I believe in one of their closeout sales. After shooting it only a few times (50 or less) the rod that the cable slide rides on has loosened up and come out of the bow. Should he glue that back in and is there any type of glue that will work best.
I know the PSE baby-G has 3 allen head set screws that secure this in place. Could he dril into the riser and put some set screws in the Carrera?

MJR, you might want to check out www.pse-archery.com
They have a message board there and their pro-staff and engineers post there regularly. Being that this is a new bow, the staffers could tell you what the best way to handle this without damaging anything, including the warranty. If it is a common problem with that model, they might have a fix for it. Just an idea. Whatever he does, I wouldn't suggest gluing.
