Any one try this loop material? I broke my loop the other day and forked out the 5 bucks for 9" of this stuff. I know theres lots of material that I could have found around the house for a loop, I just didn't want to risk my upcomeing hunt on piece of untested cord. This stuff any good? Or am I destined to launch another $18 ride(ACC/Muzzy) into the bushes?

Nub,
I switched to this material a couple of years ago. I'm not sure of the specific technical data, but the material seems thicker and is supposedly stronger than others I've tried. I've found it to be more durable and holds up real well. BTW, how did your loop break? In the center or at an end??
You're right about the price, they're awful proud of it!!

Illini: Acually it broke in the center. It would be from the top side of my release. I didn't seem to wear evenly, wonder if I'm canting my release a bit.The PSE material looks like some pretty stout tuff. The last loop I had lasted me a year. The pro shop I got it from is out of buisiness now tho. They handled PSE but the loop material they had was on a larger roll. Thanks
