Default Mathews Switchback

I had a q2xl and all the equipment was put on my new switchback. The peep sight is one that does not have a rubber piece on it. The guy that set it up says I need to train it, twist it so it will line up when I put my bow back. I never had to do this with my other bow. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

The bow shop you bought it from should have done it......you'll need a bow press.

You can either twist the string until it lines up or take the peep out and reinsert it until it lines up right.

Ditto on what Dalejbrass posted. The shop should be responsible for setting the peep properly. At least that's what we do and it is included in the purchase price of the bow.

Some shops, however, knock the purchase price way down and then charge extra for each and every item. You should have a talk with your shop as to which way he/she works it.

In any event, a bow press is really what's needed to do the job right.

Enjoy your new Switchback. I was able to shoot one last week and it is a very smooth drawing and nice bow to shoot.
