What method do you use for finding true centershot?

Rick, Most center shot gauges, lasers and what not will show you center shot on a relaxed bow. That's not going to do much for true center shot. As reference yes, as true center shot, no way. When you come to full draw so many things change from the relaxed position. Limb flex, cam angle even some riser torque. Get two fletched, STRAIGHT arrows and 1 bare shaft. Shoot the two fletched and then the bare shaft at a target about 15 to 20 feet. Adjust your rest until the bare shaft impacts just below the fletched arrow. You have true center shot.

i use the laser to set up any new rest i buy and go from there. why? because it gets me close, very close. i also set nocking pt and rest height with the bow in a vise and a string level and arrow level. then i dial my sight in at 20 yds. then i back up to 30 and shoot at the same dot with my 20 yard pin. if my groups are a little left the rest needs to go a little right until the arrows fall directly below the dot vertically, or vice versa. then i have my centershot that accounts for the way i torque the bow or the stuff sniper mentioned. that accounts for the first few sets of 'super tuning', which i have found works very well for me.
