2004 Bowtech?
I found a pro shop that has some 2004 Bowtechs at a good price. I am wondering if Bowtech had a problem with there limbs cracking on there 2004 model bows? I remember reading a few posts on this board about cracked bowtech limbs. Did they resolve this problem before the 2004 model year?
Thanks,

RE: 2004 Bowtech?
The only problem I have been aware of is people improperly pressing them and crushing the limb into the pocket. I'm sure there have been isolated limb failures that occur with all companies but nothing to the extent that I would consider it a "problem".

RE: 2004 Bowtech?
I'm still waiting on my second set of limbs. The bow has been in the shop since 12-31-04. UPS has yet to deliver them[&o], maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day?
And NO my bow has never been improperly pressed. I was there when it came out of the box and it has never left my possesion.
The limb issues aren't "cracked" limbs, rather delaminating limbs. Small slithers of finish that look like a scratch but are not.
With that said I wouldn't hesitate on buying an 04 at all. Since your geting it from a pro shop it will come with a lifetime warranty.
The four models I'd look at first are the-
(in order)
Patriot
Extreme VFT
Liberty
Mighty-mite VFT
Shoot them all and then pick the one that sells itself (that's what my Patriot did)
