Default stabilizer for Bowtech

What are you Bowtech shooters using for stabs? I have an Extreme, with a short 4 inch old junker stab I had laying around. I wouldn't think you would want alot of weight out front of a Bowtech, so I was wondering what everyone is using and likes.

You are correct in your assesment that you probably don't want a lot of weight out front of that bow. (Not necessarily ALL BowTechs) The Extreme VFT is the most top heavy of the BowTech models to date IMO with the exception of the first year Patriot which was VERY top heavy.

Something light, like a 4 or 6" Stealth, or maybe even lighter like a Golden Key Tranquilizer.

By the way, BowTech has a new Stabilizer out this year called the "Wild Thing" that is not too heavy and it is camo dipped to match the bows.
It is a weight in motion style like a Doinker, but also has a built in offset and lots of rubber dampening qualities.
I have rough tested so far in my basement and I gotta say........the thing is VERY close in feel to my favorite Stealth Hunter models. I need to get outside and really compare the 2, but the Stealth is going to be tough to beat.

I'm shooting a Stealth on mine as well. I have a custom made 4" 6oz. that is film dipped in Mossy Oak. It's not Obsession, but it matches very well. Jerry at Stealth can take care of that for you. If I were to buy another one today, it would definitely bea another Stealth, but I think I'd get an 8 oz. model as my Patriot still seems a little top heavy with the 6 oz. one.

I couldn't agree more with the guy's on the Stealth. I have the 6" on my Patriot Dually and if I were to buy another stabilizer it would definetly be another Stealth ,but then again I might just try the new wild thing just for the heck of it. .Jerry is very good at accomidating us guy's here on this forum ,you definetly can't go wrong with the Stealth hunter which ever model you decide .

yeah, it's like back in the day when a buddy of mine had his father tell him "Brett, i'm not trying to control your life, you can be any kind of doctor you want." you can get any kind of stealth you want. i also added some spider legs to my string. i found a site that showed me how to make them look like puff balls. i also dumped the doodle drop and got a vbg ultimate fall away because it's super quiet. i'll also be receiving a truball 'prodiamond' extreme with a talon head i'll remove the rope from (according to ben at truball it'll be the first one ever sold - brand new line to be revealed at show,) its a non-cocking thumb trigger release that is silent. anybody figured out why i dumped my stabilizer, doodle drop, and hick's thumb trigger and am going for totally silent? that situation will NEVER happen again.
