RE: stabilizer for Bowtech
You are correct in your assesment that you probably don't want a lot of weight out front of that bow. (Not necessarily ALL BowTechs) The Extreme VFT is the most top heavy of the BowTech models to date IMO with the exception of the first year Patriot which was VERY top heavy.
Something light, like a 4 or 6" Stealth, or maybe even lighter like a Golden Key Tranquilizer.
By the way, BowTech has a new Stabilizer out this year called the "Wild Thing" that is not too heavy and it is camo dipped to match the bows.
It is a weight in motion style like a Doinker, but also has a built in offset and lots of rubber dampening qualities.
I have rough tested so far in my basement and I gotta say........the thing is VERY close in feel to my favorite Stealth Hunter models. I need to get outside and really compare the 2, but the Stealth is going to be tough to beat.
