Anyone using NAP Quick Spins and CE Terminator Hunters?
#2
Joe,
I tried the Quickspins on my CE CX Hunters and used both Fletch-Tite Quick Gel and Super Glue Gel. Both worked fine and the fletching did not come off after several dozen shots. Only prep I did was to remove all the old glue with a razor blade. Be careful not to dig into the BuffTuff finish. Then I washed them off with soap and water and dried them.
On a side note, I was not impressed with the way the Quickspins worked. My arrows shoot very straight with the CE vanes but wobbled horribly with the Quickspins. Maybe it was just the way I put them on, dunno. I am going to try some of the Blazers next. I keep shooting my vanes up and people say they are so small that they don't get hit that often and they fly very well.

I shoot goldtips, so I dont know anything about the ce arrows. But I can tell you to save your money on the quick spins. I bought a dozen about a month ago, with 1/2 being regular vanes and the other 1/2 being quick spins. They both shoot just as tight out of my bow (@ 2" group @ 30 yds.) the only difference is that the qs's hit @ 1" higher @ 30 than the regular fletchings do, and make a hellacious whistling noise going downrange. Even with my loud*** bow you can hear them whistling bad. If I were you I'd get either vanes or feathers and leave the qs's alone.

I use the cx terminator shafts. Scrape the old stuff off and clean with ajax powder(an water). Im using flex fletch vanes (lower profile since i needed the extra clearance) with flex bond adhesive. Also using easton super uni nocks instead of the nocks that come with the shafts. Havent had a problem. Slight offet is how ive have them fletched.
