I did have a chance to tinker with them on 2 or 3 different bows. They seem to have varying affects. On the one bow they made a drastic change..on the other the difference was minimal.

I do think they work, but just like the limbsavers, they work better on noisier bows.

I have them on my Darton Mav Recurve and can crank my limbs down all the way with no problem.

I droped down to IBO specs this year with carbons on my 70lb Feathermax, I installed the NV's and it felt like I lost 20 fps. Even my local range owner (who hates mathews) commented on how quite the bow was.

They are great.

Thanks Black Frog. Just by looking at them quickly it does not seem like it would work, but looks are decieving I guess. I shot one of those recurves a couple of days ago, nice bow.
