shooting ?

Default shooting ?

today i was shooting my back up bow (2003 hoyt havotec cam 1/2) and i have notice that when i shoot i aim below the target steady up and raise the bow up slowly until i get in the middle of where i want to hit and shoot i have good follow through and my accruacy is preety good all 1 1/2 groups at 35. does anybody else do these and is this a case of target panic?

It's fine to shoot like that untill that pin freezes just below and the bow seems to weigh 150lbs and you can't seem to move it into the X ring.

Target guys will generally come from the top down. It;s easier to let down and relax than relax and use the bow arm muscles to raise it in there.

That being said, if your hitting where your aiming shoot it with your feet if you want

i use to some form the top of the target down but after i shot over i couple deer i decided to come for the bottom up and that has worked much better for me.

Trushot_archer summed it up pretty good! Whatever your doing must be working with 1 1/2" groups at 35 yards. Good shooting!
