silencing my bow
I shoot a Jenning buckmaster G2 set @ 70#'s. I use a whisker biscuit rest and a/c/c 3-60 arrows cut at 27 inches(they are overspined), shoot 100 grain heads. i have truball speed balls and string whiskers on the string and a loop to hook the release to. I have limb savers on teh bow and a strikewave gel stabilizer. My bow seems really loud compared to my old bow and was wonder what else i could do to silence it. Does the arrows being over spined have anything to do with it? thanks

The heavier the arrow the more quiet the bow will be.Try double checking all of your accesories to make sure everything is tight.Did you move the speedballs around to find the best placement on your string?

maybe something is loose now that you say that cause when i started shooting it was fine and then i brought it from MI to NC and maybe something rattled loose. so i'll have to check that out. i haven't moved the speed balls since i put them on.

RE: silencing my bow
Before you go spending a bunch more money and time tyr this ( i ran into the same problem.) have a budy shoot a few arrows through it and it may not be as loud as you think. Stand a few feet away at different positons IE from both sides and behind the bow. Mine was not nearly as loud as I thought it was. I think its just the fact that you are right on top of the bow.
