New bow problems

If you don't think that there is any contact ,try doing a powder test on your fletchings , this will tell you the truth whether you have contact with your rest or any other part of your bow. Baby powder or foot powder will do the job. This might give you some answers that your looking for. It's not sounding that your bow is correct for you .I'd go back and make them do the job right this time .when your spending that kind of money on a bow ,I'm sure you want it done right .I'd be very upset if they sold me a bow that wasn't setup properly for me .This could be a case of neglect and just wanting to make a sale ,but for you I hope this isn't the case.

I think you need to take wingspan standing up against a wall. And then with the 30 inch mod and a string loop say around 3/4" you should be pretty close. As far as the vanes just spray foot powder onto the rest and maybe the riser to see where it is hitting.

Good news guys!!!
I went to a proshop, explained the whole ordeal, and the guy helped me get everything straight after he ragged on me for buying a hoyt. Kinda pissed me off, but oh well...
One thing though. I am shooting a string loop and he took my nock off? Is that common practice? Its just kind of funny for me... Thanks!
