can't see a particular rest causing issues with penetration unless it wasn't set up correctly or the bow wasn't tuned to the rest. But that can happen with any product, not just the biscuit.
I use a GKF Premier Drop Away with 2317 eastons.

I gave the WB a try and it shot very well for me and is very accurate. Problem i had was once i got elevated up in my treestand to practice i found that if my form wasn't perfect (which it isn't) my groups would tend to be inconsistent. I have nothing bad to say about the WB it just didn't work out for me at the present time but i'm sure it was me not the rest. As for fletching damage (shooting feathers) it was minimal. I still have the rest and i'm going to play with it more after this season to see if i can get my accuracy to improve with it from an elevated position. Deer season is to close to keep tinkering so i put the old tried and trued Golden Premier back on for now and have everything shooting great so thats what i'll be hunting with for this year.

I use a Muzzy Zero Effect with my mathews legacy. The rest is a little complicated to set up, but I really like it a lot. Used to use a trap door, but switched this year to the ZE and like it a lot more.

This was after 3 bounces off the sides.
BTW, I toss up weekly whether or not to put the Mirage back on my bow or stick with my QT3000....so far the QT is holding it's ground....likely to stay that way too, but I never know from one day to the next if I'm going to change something.

Only drops 3fps with a WB??? I and many others find this claim to be false. Especially with right helical 5" feathers. I wonder how many people have actually did a honest comparison. This is the internet. Take what you say here with a grain of salt. But I have yet to match advertised performance for much of anything from speeds advertised by ammo manufactures, to IBO speeds.

I tried a 5" feather with hard right helical. Really all I shoot. Add to that advertising hype, another for measurement error, and some more for slight tuning adjustments. You could easily see 25fps or more.

Bigcountry, I finally realize where your coming from !! 
I don't think it is fair for you to come on to a public forum and blast the WB for a 25 -30 fps speed loss..........when you are shooting such an extreme example ! And consistantly question myself and others motives ......because we are showing a small speed loss (using completely different fletching ) !
Obviously a 5" fletch is the longest out ........and using a severe helical is going to have by far the most drag..........anything out of tune would probably compound any speed loss ..........chrono's vary........so yeh ......25 fps still sounds high.......but could be correct for what you saw !
But how about laying off .....a lot of us are shooting 3-4" vanes on a mild helical or offset fletch through a B2 WB out of well tuned bows.........that consistantly show 2-3 fps or so per second loss and 5 fps max !!
