Beman Hawk Arrows
I used to shoot hawks. I then changed to ICS's, since hawks are sometimes hard to find about two years ago. I had a hard time finding straight ICS's. I would spin test 12, and find 3 or 4 that were perfect I would use with broadheads. So I took out my old hawks and took a look see. All 8 of em I had were straighter than the ICS's. The hawks are priced and advertised as a cheaper, arrrow with higher wieght and straightness tolerances. Could be just the batch I had. So I chrono'd and the lighter hawks are 15fps faster, and pull out of the target easier.
I was wondering if people shooting hawks have this good of success? Or was I lucky?
I am having a hard time finding beman carbon hunters, (skinny ones), anybody shoot these anymore?

RE: Beman Hawk Arrows
The Hawks tend to be straighter, but weight and spine varies more on avg...they are based on the original ICS (not ICS hunter) shaft.
You can get the Beman pultruded arrows from Mountain Archery. Shafts are under 50 bucks, but components are not included. Still would be about $60 for a dozen shafts w/ components. Great value for the $
