Have any of ya'll done any comparisons between these two? It seems that the limbsavers may absorb more vibration since they are attached directly to the limbs. How about a combo of the two? Any significant difference?

Depends on the bow (assuming 2004s..the new VBS work much better than the originals)

On the Liberty I tried the Stealth Limbsavers and felt/heard no difference. On the harder shooting bows (I/N cams/duals) you will feel more of a difference. I tried the new Ultra Limbsavers on a Pro 40 dual cam and they helped quite a bit.

Thanks Jeff. I forgot to mention, it is a Liberty. So is safe to say the new ultras would not give me any added benefits?

I added the Stealth Ultras to my Patriot and it is deadly silent. I kept my Vibrablocks and just slid them down near the limb pockets. I think it quieted the bow even more. I think it was well worth the $18 I spent for them. Now I just need to replace the string spiders since they are all but gone. Think I'm gonna put leeches on.

I didn't say that I haven't tried the Ultras on a Liberty They may work better.

If you have a long draw and shoot heavy poundage @ 5 grains or so(or have noisy stuff on the bow), then yes it may be worth the $ for you. If $ are tight, I personally would spend my money on something else I needed.

I installed Limb savers on my '04 Mighty Mite and slid the vibra-blocks toward the cam and idler wheel. The difference was very noticeable to me as far as hand-shock and noise is concerned. I would recommend at least trying it - it couldn't hurt!

I also have my VB's up near the limb pockets. I have the camo limbsaver ultras next to the cams.

This bow is as close to zero hadshock as you can imagine. Put some simms cable guard dampners on the cable guard up near the riser and slide the bowtech dampner about an inch infront of your cable slide.

The only noise you will hear is that BowTech rocking that ole' 3-d target

Same thing here as Jeff and the others. I have not found one to be better than the other but when used in conjunction in the manner mention by the other gents you can definitely quiet your bow and reduce any leftover vibration/recoil.

I think they are worth the additional investment.
