OK GUYS A BUDDY OF MINE IS SHOOTING HIS ARROWS WITH FEATHERS SUPPOSIVELY FLETCHED WITH HIS BITZENBURGER JIG.HE WAS TELLING ME THAT EVERY TIME HE ANCHORS HIS FEATHERS KEEP TOUCHING THE SIDE OF HIS LOWER CHIN WERE HE ANCHORS,I ALREADY ASKED HIM IF HIS FLETCHING IS ALL THE WAY BACK ON HIS ARROWS AND HE SAID THEY ARE SET ON THE SECOND MARK ON THE CLAMP.HE WAS WONDERING IF MAYBE HIS DRAW LENGTH IS TO LONG,THINKING HE WAS ANCHORED TO FAR BACK FOR THEM TO TOUCH HIS LOWER CHIN.WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK SO I CAN PASS ON SOME GOOD INFO OR SUGGESTIONS

Draw length is a matter into itself. For a quick check measure his wingspan and divide by 2.5. That should get real close to what he should be shooting. As for the feathers touching his chin? Mine do and I fletch my arrows 1 1/4" ahead of the nock groove. So if it bothers him, and his draw is right, what's to stop him from fletching a bit farther down the shaft? Say another 1/4" or so. By experimenting you find out what works for you.

My feathers touch my chin having fletched near your friend's mark. My draw length is relatively short so I don't think this is a primary function of draw length. At any rate, I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't seem to be affecting accuracy.
