I use one now. It is sure a good bow. I use a gkf premier and sometimes a bodoodle pro lite. Added limsavers, string leach, and winners choice cables and string. Use a true-fire hurricane with a d-loop.
also a pse f-22 sights i rigged with a blacklight to illuminate my pins. I use cx 60-75 terminators and sometimes gt xt's with 100 gr spitfires. Its a good shooting bow, its pretty tricked out for me anyway. Im comfortable shooting deer up to about 40 yds

I shoot a firestorm lite and absolutely love it. it is set up as follows:

Firestorm lite 29 in draw 70 lbs
Pse NV system
Sims Modular Stabilizer
Sims String Leaches
Trophy ridge Drop Zone rest
Vital bow gear 3 ring trapper
Pse sling
Pse mongoose peep
Gold Tip Advantage timber pro hunters 7595 29.75"
Muzzy 125g 3 Blade
There. I think that is it.

I've changed rest a couple of times and arrows once as i didn't like what I had bought. The bow is great and once it is tuned it shoots exceptional. I truly believe that all the hype about short bows canting is just that, hype!

As long as the bow is tunned and you practice often you shouldn't need to do anything special to be ready to hunt.
