Muzzy--there's no harm in trying different combinations.
I know the saying is--don't change what works, change what doesn't--but sometimes changes are good!!!
Like Matt, Jeff and PA I've had good fortunes with the Rocket Steelheads--It's hard to for some people to look at the broadhead and think it's really harmful, but let me assure you if placed in the right spot will do the job effectively.
I've had great success using this broadhead on 'Moose'--(yes moose), the moose I shot last year was shot at 42 yards from my stand, using a Champion Mustang set at 55 # draw weight, with 367 grains GT 3555, leaving the bow @ 242 fps--that moose ran 38 yards and dropped a total distance of 80 yards from my stand.
Speed, kenitic, penetration are all areas to look at, but shot placement is 'most crucial' and most times will do the job and get you the result!!!
But you need to see what works for "you", but I'll say there's no harm in trying different things--that's how we improve our knowledge--go for it, but do this before your season begins and make sure you're confident and comfortable with what ever the set-up you decide on.
Best of luck!!!

Actually I think a comment Matt/Pa made on another board sparked my interests in trying some out. He stated that in varying hunting situations and conditions that are less then Ideal (ex. wind, less then perfect shooting form etc..) mechanicals can be more forgiving in that nature. I've never really had any issues with my Muzzy's finding their mark, but there is always the IF in my head.

I was always leary of the mech's. But lately, some companies have really stepped them up and they are performing excellent in the field.

I do like the Rocky Mt. Snypers and also the one NAP has that looks similar to them I think they are called Scorpions. I feel that anything that is 1 1/8" cut, like my muzzy's will more than be adequate enough for me.

I like trying new stuff, especially if its something that for years I have been against. BH's were one thing I have been real stubborn about replacing.

Of course I wont ever shoot a Bowte$$ either. [8D] Couldn't refuse.

If If If... If you aunt had balls she would be your uncle.

It won't ever stop, with the ifs. It will just continue and continue. Longer bows are more forgiving and I think me and Arthur P are the only ones around with 45+ inch bows. I think the change would minimally help with the poor form, ect from certain hunting conditions. Except a 200 mph cross wind. Just my thoughts, stick with what works... Everytime, never fail.

I really can't add much to what has already been said. everyone has given you some excellent advice. I can say that my choices for you setup would be a Rocky snyper, NAP scorpion, Vortex 100 grn steel( two blade 1 1/2" cut) or a shockwave. These heads will add more cut to your setup without giving up to much penetration. If you want a mechanical for accuracy then the steelheads would be great along with the Rocky Ironhead xp. I am very intrested in Rockets new line of cut on contact tip heads as well. They look like they hold a lot of promise. The new Jackhammer 1 1/4" would probably a good head as well, but I have not tested it so I can't say for sure. If you don't mind stepping to 125 grn wieght then the steelhead 125 would also be a great choice.

My choice is Rocky Mountain Snypers....I switched from Muzzy last year, like you no problems with Muzzy, just wanted to try something new. The Snypers are awsome

For your set up I would stick to 1 1/4 inch blades maximium. There are quite a few good ones on the market now. I have used Nap Shockwave with impressive results.
Good luck, so many broadheads so little time and money...

I use Gold Tip 5575 and 75gr Rocket Mini-blaster 3s. I shoot a Legacy at 65lbs and 285 fps I shot a deer at 15 yards It went in just behind the shoulder and double lunged it. The broad head nicked a rib going in and went right through a rib going out and stuck in the ground on the other side, the deer went about 35 yards. My dad has killed a lot of deer with his 57gr rockets.
