RE: Home maid target, ever try this?
The target I'm thinking about making will me made with that vinyl siding underlayment (sp)? The stuff looks like the same material that the Block target is made out of. You can find it at the large lumber yards like Home Depot. The material is folded and it would be easy to cut into uniform width pieces (where it's folded);) Then just put a plywood bottom and top on and compress with bolts or band it tight,, like the Block target.:)

Let me know if this stuff works I have been going to try it as well. I am about ready to dump the 200 bucks and buy one of those 3-d deer from the block company, but hate to spend the money. |

RE: Home maid target, ever try this?
Walks,
There is a company making a target very similar to what you describe. The material looks very much like the construction material you're referring to. They control pentration with the tightness of the bolts compressing it. Every so often, they recommend taking it apart and moving shot-out areas, to different sections. Sounds like it would last for years. |
