Sorry for not making that really clear. I get the rest close to center shot. Then i Shot through the paper to get my nock in the right place. Then i Shot the step back with fletched arrows to place the rest in and out. THen i shot through the paper for the spine. Once you have done that it is time to do bare shaft group tuning. This does the same thing as the paper tuning with spine, its just more precise. hope that helps out.
