Actual age still unknown. However, inspect the shafts for any damage that could hurt the structural integrity and make your call.Answer to "spine" question still stands. Dial in your specs in the chart and let the chart answer your question. However, the results are just a basic guide.

Now back to the question.
Yes there is a spine specification for the 2216's,I am looking at the chart right now and the spine deflection on that shaft is almost .400.On the chart it looks like it falls in at about a .380 spine.
Provided,you choose an arrow of the same length, and the arrows that you currently have are correct,new ones should be about the same deflection.
