After I read Stump's post and before I read the others, I was going to ask if anyone else thought that was some mighty impressive speed at those specs

I am shooting a BT Patriot at 30' and 70 lbs. It is shooting a 444 gr. arrow at 284 fps (that's an average from 3 different chronos) with a string loop and tru peep on the string.

OUtback 68# 28 1/2 draw Easton Axis 400's 27 inch arrow 75 grain head 3" feathers arrow wrap, approx 358 grains, 280 fps approx

Xtec at 71lb, 27.5 shooting aTT shakey, Gold tip xt at 400grains an average 0f 262fps, but have a tube and peep,kisser on the string witha inch long string loop! which I am cutting down to .75in loop! anyway how big are your guys d-loops? If you dont mind me asking?

Mathews FX 67lbs 28" minimax , 7595 with 100 grain head, 395grains, 262ft/sec.

2003 blackknight w/70# limbs set at 65# w/ 370 grain is 302 fps and w the hunting arrows at 435 grains is shooting at 285 fps

2004 Patriot s/c w/80 limbs set at 76# w my axis 400's at 405grains is shooting at 284 fps.

the BLK is still faster but the PAT is so smooth and is easier to hold at full draw a bit more longer than it was with my BLK.

'04 Bowtech Extreme, 28.5"draw, tru-peep, brass knock, speed knock, string leeches (BT's version), standard 2 prong rest, ICS 400's cut to 27", 100gr tip= 272fps


akid that is some impresive speed, you sure about that setup.[&:]

Mathews LX at 58lbs, Whisker Biscuit, Fletcher TruPeep, 28.5" Gold Tip XT with 100gr tips @ 378grs. Chronographed average is 264fps using fingers.
