Paging all tecs...
Especially shop owners or others who've set up a lot of bows for folks... But anyone who knows can plan
Have you ever seen someone with a wingspan measurement of 70", which suggests a 27.5" draw length, need to go longer in dl? If so, what body type characteristics did this individual have, or how much does build vary the wing span formula recommendation? I'm 5"10 with a 48" chest measurement (count me in as another life long lifter...), if that helps. Thanks for any advice.

Broad shoulders will deduct some, a narrow body frame will add some, long fingers will deduct some, short fingers will add some.
The amount of change from the wingspan value will be so individual that there's really not a decent figure to give.

Black Frog is right, Rangeball. The wingspan method is a good starting point and will normally get you to within 1/2" or so, but it is not set in stone.
As long as your resulting drawlength feels comfortable and you are set in a complete "T" with no leaning or head-craning one way or the other, (perfect form) then the world is yours, only you can decide what feels best for you, my friend! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Good shooting, Pinwheel 12
