I have an '03 Patriot Dually as many know. I have contacted Pat (Bowtech_Shooter) a few weeks back and he told me that the edge of the mod screw closest to the riser should be 1/4" from the limb.
When I set the bow up like this.. the timing marks on the cams are way off. Am I doing something wrong or am I misunderstanding something?

KBacon,
The 03 dually I shot about a week ago had greenish timing marks. My 02 Patriot single cam also had greenish marks. If it has white marks it sounds like the previous owner put them there but in the wrong spot. The factory timing marks wear off rather easily, so this could be the case. I actually use red stick-on car pinstriping bought at walmart to mark my timing marks, works great. Hope this helps.

Ken,
The factory timing marks are done with what looks to be a yellow highlighter..they have a yellowish-green tint.
I have never seen white, so I suspect the former owner made those.

Thanx guys.. That had me a little confused. So 1/4" is the correct measurement I assume. There's a big difference between that and the marks that I assume the previous owner put on there. Thanx alot.

Isn't that the measurement the techman gave ya?...

They've never used any white markers at the plant so I'd have to say the previous owner put them on it. That's the bad thing about buying any kind of used gear, you never know excatly what you're getting or what kind of history is behind it...

Pat.. I knew you were right all along
I just wanted to verify... damn white marks had me all thrown off. Well I already had it adjusted to 1/4" like the "Bowtech Tech" told me... just wanted to make sure. Now my next question is where do I get a new mod since the draw length is a bit too short now that I have it adjusted correctly? My local "dealer" is a complete joke and charged me $40 for the last mod for the '02 I had.
Pat.. I'll buy a new Bowtech here soon... but it's soo hard to choose.
