Definitely look for a good bow shop. Far more important then the actual bow brand, will be the skills of the shop helping you out. Ask around and find out who runs the best shop and gives the best advise to their customers. All shops will be able to set you up with something low in price, but only some of them will fit you properly, tune your bow correctly and give you sound advise on accessories, arrows and broadheads. Good shops can also boost your shooting skills quickly by giving some basic coaching. Don't worry about the bow, worry about finding the best local advise.

Your going to get what you pay for.If your looking for a bow to hunt with you need a bow that creates conetic energy .I shoot a Renegade Tominator 2 for 3D ,and hunting .There's a lot of bow companies out that make a fine bow .Just don't let a dealer fit you in to something your not comfortable shooting.Read up on bows and the mechanics of them .SPEED should not be an issue ,you want accuracey.A hunting set up ,and target set up are a bit differint.Ask more questions ,you can never learn enough. And every body has there opinion on what the best products are.Good luck and welcome the world of archery.
