RE: possible problem with the Liberty
The first thing anyone should do when getting a new bow is to inspect everything that might come loose. They are made by humans and some little things can be overlooked very easily. The E-clips is a freaky deal!! I'd bet that they were over tempered when they were made, making them brittle. I remember seeing a picture of a BowTech limb that was splintered last year from shooting the bow with a loose module screw. These are some of the things you should check constantly that can keep you shooting the bow instead of waiting for it to come back from the factory

I would say that you are darn lucky you caught it. Something small like an E-clip can have a major impact if left unchecked for a time.
Something I do with many of my bows is take a little string wax and rub it across the e-clips/ends of the axles after I initially set up the bow. This does two things...prevents any loose e-clips from rattling and also prevents moisture from entering the axle at this point.

Thanks for the tips Russell and Frank. I just checked everything else and it's all tight. I can't believe how good this bow shoots. I'm going out now to fling a few more arrows before the snow starts flying!
