Bo539 I would not reccomend using fletching tape on carbon arrows.2yrs ago the night before the state 3d shoot iwas fletching some arrows and i ran out of fletching cement.I went to the local shop and they were out also, they had some fletching tape and said it worked great.well needless to say the next day was hot and my feathers were moving on the shaft.Ive used it on aluminum shafts with great results. For feathers on carbons i would reccomend bond tite. Good Luck!!

I use the fletching tape on carbons with good results. I clean the shaft with Acetone, and put a drop of fletch tite at the tip and back of each feather. The tape doesn't hold as "strong" as the better glues, but It hold very well. I shoot a lot, and have not had any feathers come off. I have also been playing around with a whisker biscut rest that is "known" for tearing off fletchings and have not had any problems yet. It is still a little eary to know for sure with the WB though.
